Fault Analysis Dialog: Fault Definitions

This page of the Fault Analysis Dialog allows for defining multiple fault points to be sequentially processed, with the fault current and Thevenin impedance calculated for each fault point, and for up to two different fault types (default is three phase balanced and single line to ground.)

To manually create a list of fault points, right-click on the table and choose Insert from the pop-up menu. From this method, you can only choose one bus or branch at a time to insert. Alternatively, you can also use the Auto Insert button at the bottom of the dialog to use selection criteria to automatically create the fault points list. When the faults are run using the Run Faults button, the results will be calculated and displayed for each fault point within this table.
