Features and Improvements

  • Oneline Diagrams: Added right click menu to display injection group object with options: Injection Group Information Dialog, Show Data View, and Open Model Explorer.
  • Power Flow Solution: Modified the algorithm for finding Arriving Branches when connecting generators to remotedly regulated buses to expand the grouping of buses near the remotely regulated bus that are connected by low impedance branches. Previously this grouping was restricted to buses connected by branches with impedances below the ZBRThreshold. The grouping is now expanded to branches connected by impedances below 4 times the ZBRThreshold instead. This helps the numerical stability of the power flow solution.
  • Transient Stability: Added a new OscType for the PQWave load model. It acts similarly to the Square wave, but instead does a ramp for each square instead.

    • Bug Fixes

    • Case Information Displays: When first opening a case information display with a large number of columns (>128), but no objects (rows) in the table, the column headers were not updated immediately. This has been fixed.
    • Oneline Diagrams: Added support for reading shapefiles with the LAMBERT_AZIMUTHAL_EQUAL_AREA.
    • PV and QV Curve (PVQV) Tool: When saving a PV legacy plot to file, file extensions were not automatically being included if they were not specified in the filename selection. This has been fixed and the file extensions are now automatically included if not specified. When saving a JPEG file, an intermediary WMF file was being created. This is no longer needed and shouldn't appear along with the JPEG file.
    • QV Curve Tool: On the QV dialog when changing the name of the output file using the Browse button, the filename would not always be changed to the new value. This has been fixed.
    • User Interface Dialogs: When attempting to add a three-winding transformer through the GUI and the selected Starbus contained a gen, load, or shunt, an infinite loop of messages indicating that you cannot have gens, loads, or shunts attached to the starbus would occur. This has been fixed.
