Smart Wires develops Distributed Flexible AC Transmission System (D-FACTS) devices. They assisted in developing the basic modeling characteristics of D-FACTS devices in PowerWorld Simulator. We are currently developing the capability to use D-FACTS devices as controls to optimize grid operation with PowerWorld Simulator OPF.
